Depending on your readiness, you may:

Device Fabrication
Behind the scenes at the workshop:

- 🛠️ The P&O expert modifies, shapes, and designs your custom mold
- 🛠️ Fabrication includes lamination, molding, finishing, and static alignment
Timeline:
1 day to several days, depending on complexity or imported components.

First Fitting
On your scheduled date:
- 🦾 Your device is fitted in a dedicated fitting room
- 🦾Comfort, alignment, and function are checked
- 🦾If the fit is approved → you proceed to gait training

Gait Training in the Gym
Under the supervision of a physiotherapist and P&O specialist, you will practice:
- Standing exercises with your device
- Walking inside and outside the parallel bars
- Progressing from supported to independent walking
Duration:
A few days to several weeks, depending on your condition.

MRDC does not provide accommodation during training; patients must arrange their own stay in Maputo.
